Electrical installations bespoke course for Tyco Intergrated Systems

Electrical Courses Ltd delivered it’s first bespoke course this week and it was for a group of highly qualified, experienced and very knowledgeable Engineers from Tyco Integrated Systems’ Cambridge based department. Tyco Integrated Systems is a leading high-end systems integrator with over 40 years’ experience in advanced security, audio/visual and integrated systems. They are part of Tyco International (NYSE:TYC), the world’s largest dedicated fire and security company (www.tyco.com).

The 2 day course was designed to help the Engineers from TYCO gain a better understanding of certain aspects of Electrical Installations, that may be involved when designing their hi tech equipment and installing them into domestic, commercial and industrial installations. This included topics such as protective devices, cable sizing and impedance values required by the IET Wiring regulations.

It was an absolute pleasure delivering this course and the group of Engineers were a great bunch, it was also good from our point of view to have a slight taste of what their job roles involve.
