The Electrical Installations level 2 diploma (2365) is for anyone who would like to become a qualified Electrician in the Domestic, Commercial or Industrial sector and does not already have an Electrical Apprenticeship or even a job working in the Electrical Industry. So basically if you are looking to become a qualified Electrician, but cannot afford to spend four years as an Apprentice, then this Electrical installations course is the starting qualification you should choose. What's involved in this Electrical Installations course?
Electrical Theory
On the Level 2 Electrical Installations course, our electrical Improvers will learn all about the basic underpinning knowledge an Electrician uses on site, including:
- Health and safety
- Electrical science and principles
- Electrical Installation methods and procedures
Electrical Practical
Most learners would consider this the best part of the level 2 diploma (2365) as it covers almost 50% of the learning. So nearly every afternoon of the City and Guilds level 2 Course is dedicated to learning the basic practical skills an electrician would undertake on site.
