Introduction to the Level Experienced worker NVQ
This City and Guilds level 3 experienced worker NVQ electrical qualification is aimed at practicing electricians who have prior knowledge and experience but do not have a level 3 NVQ. The level 3 NVQ experienced worker route is completed onsite and not at a college. It involves building up an online portfolio of electrical installation evidence to meet the City and Guilds NVQ criteria.

6 to 18 months maximum

Prerequisite
- Minimum of a level 2 Diploma on technical certificate in Electrical Installations
- Minimum of 5 year proven experience in the industry not including training.
- Technical knowledge equivalent to Level 3 of Electrical installations
- Level 3 18th Edition BS7671 Regulations qualification (This can be completed whist you are doing the NVQ
- Level 3 2391-52 Inspection and testing qualification (This can be completed whist you are doing the NVQ)
- Access to Electrical Installation work, i.e. currently employed in an electrical installation role
What's involved?
Portfolio building
Our candidates will be required to build up an online portfolio, by gathering evidence of the Electrical Installation work they carry out on site or a real life job. Our candidates will have access to:
- Online Portfolio account
- Dedicated NVQ Assessor
- An introduction to the NVQ and how to use the online portfolio
- Detailed breakdown of the evidence required
- 2 Remote observations relative to H&S
Important note: The AM2E is not included in this course and is a separate assessment.
